From A Nurse – The Best Cheap And Natural Acne Treatments That Start Healing Overnight

Because I’m a registered nurse and have come in contact with many acne patients, I’ve learned a lot over the years about acne, acne scars, and acne treatments. By their mid-teens, nearly 35% of teenagers have acne severe enough to require some type of treatment from a medical professional. If you or someone you love suffers from acne – what you want to know is what you can do about it.

Most pimples are found on the face, neck, back, chest, and shoulders. Acne is the most common skin disease. While almost all young people experience acne at least once, it’s been reported that 47% of those in their 20s and 30% of those in their 30s had acne. Acne is one of most common skin conditions in the world, affecting more than 40 million people.

The liver gets rid of toxins from bad food, drugs and chemicals and sends them through the skin resulting in eruptions, acne, pimples and other skin disorders. The cause of acne is unknown and there is still much to be learned. As time goes by, more research may help determine just how male and female hormones influence acne and the role diet plays.

Since the latest research indicates a connection between stress and acne, make an effort to cut down on stress any way you can. When you wash your face use a soft touch, taking care not to rub or scrub your skin. Treatment with raw apple cider vinegar will work better on your skin if it isn’t already noticeably irritated from acne medicines, acne products or other failed treatment.

Most commercial cleansers are harsh on the face and trying to find the right one for you could cost a fortune. Raw apple cider vinegar application to the skin is a cheap, alternative acne treatment that has worked for many adults, teens and children with acne, zits, pimples, or blemishes. If you’re going to buy acne products, it’s much more worth your while to buy acne-treating products that work against current pimples and prevent the occurrence of new ones.

It bears repeating, you want to be good to your skin and never pop or squeeze a pimple no matter how tempting. A new, non-invasive treatment using red light and blue light in combination has been extremely successful on severe acne. Acne prone, sensitive skin can get irritated by using astringents, skin toners, rubbing alcohol, facial masks, make-up and certain hair care products.

Any makeup you use should list on the label non-acnegenic or non-comedogenic. Shave carefully and try both electric and safety razors to see which works best for you. One treatment method some people have used is applying cornstarch, egg whites or milk of magnesia as a facial mask.

Besides acne, if you also have eczema or dry skin, coconut oil will treat those skin conditions too. Never underestimate the healing, restorative power of a good night’s sleep.

Essential fatty acids are particularly important to people with inflammatory conditions such as eczema and acne. Some alternative doctors recommend eating a raw clove of garlic daily for acne; you can chop one up and add it to your daily salad! When you change your diet, your lesions should start getting better within a week or two, with significant improvement the first month.

Drink lots and lots of pure, filtered water every day. The best acne treatment is a diet that will help the body eliminate waste; if you’re eating the standard American diet (SAD) it’ll be reflected in your skin.

Eat at least two organic apples a day while working to clear up your skin; apples are good for skin health – organic so you can eat pesticide-free skin (most of the apple pectin is in the skin), which helps with constipation. Use olive oil with a little very fresh flaxseed oil in your salads. When the skin is dehydrated, dead skin cells remain on the skin which may block pores and promote acne; drink plenty of water.

Eating foods with essential fatty acids are particularly important to people with dry skin or acne. Good nutrition will help your skin from the inside out.

Acne prevention is always a better choice than having to search for the right cure. Pick two or three cheap home remedies or natural treatments and try them out on your skin carefully. Don’t give up – try everything you can until you get relief from your acne.

Acne is the most common skin disease. The most common type of acne is acne vulgaris. Acne is one of most common skin conditions in the world, affecting more than 40 million people. Acne will affect almost every person at some stage of their life.

Experts just can’t agree on what causes acne. Doctors think certain factors might cause or contribute to acne including hormone increases in teenage years, hormone changes in pregnancy, starting or stopping birth control pills, heredity, medicines and greasy make-up. The cause of acne is unknown and there is still much to be learned.

For the best acne treatment, which has worked for many, apply virgin coconut oil to the area daily; try it on a small test area for a day or two first. Try a diligent application of coconut oil several times a day and at bedtime to see the healing benefits.

There are many natural acne home remedies; you may have to try several to find one that works best for your skin type. This is a little messy but you can try making a paste by mixing three tablespoons of honey and one teaspoon of cinnamon together and applying the paste on your pimples at bedtime for two weeks, and wash it off each morning; honey has anti-bacterial action – a cheap, natural home remedy. Try applying a thin layer of coconut oil and massaging it deep into the skin to heal and soothe the affected area.

Besides acne, if you also have eczema or dry skin, coconut oil will treat those skin conditions too. Remember, that even the most gentle and natural products you might use to clean your face can leave your skin a bit dry; use coconut oil as an excellent way to re-hydrate the skin after using any acne commercial or natural cleanser. Acne Medicine – Five Important Things To Consider

For millions of people, acne medicine represents one of the best and most effective ways to treat this irritating skin condition. However, the decision to use acne medicine to combat at outbreak of acne raises a number of important issues, such as which form of treatment is best, are there any side-effects etc. All that creates quite a problem. After all, there are so many different acne treatments available you can quickly become overwhelmed by the sheer number of options.

So before you go any further, here are the most important issues to bear in mind before you select your acne medicine.

1) The Cause Of Your Acne

Make sure you take steps to discover the exact cause of your acne. This is because there are various causes of acne and treatments that may work well for one person may not work as well for you. It’s only after you know the cause of your acne that you can select the best tye of acne medicine to treat your condition. So at this stage it’s a good idea to consult your doctor or dermatologist for help if your acne is any worse than slight.

2) Determine Your Skin Type

As already mentioned, acne treatments that may work well for one person may not work as well for another, so it’s important to take account of your skin type. For example, certain people and certain skin types are sensitive to some of the chemicals typically used in acne medicine.

So it’s a good idea to check whether you’re allegic to any of the ingredients in the treatment that you select. This will help to avoid more serious allergy problems midway through your treatment.

As always, the more natural your chosen acne treatment, the less likely you are to suffer a reaction to it. For example, if you find that you can’t use a number of mainstream acne medicines, you may want to consider various treatments prescribed by homeopaths or herbal medicines which can be highly effective and are generally less likely to cause an adverse reaction.

3) The Types Of Acne Medicine Available

Acne medicine can be divided into two main types, topical and oral.

a) Topical Acne Medicine - Topical medicines are those which are applied to the surface of the skin, usually in the form of lotions, creams, ointments, gels or foams. These treatments can be divided into two main sub-categories antimicrobial and retinoid.

i) Antimicrobial

The aim of these treatments is to destroy the acne causing bacteria that lives on the surface of the skin. This helps to prevent the development of further pustules and reduce the inflammation associated with acne. These antimicrobial medicines have shown to be quite effective in mild to moderate cases of acne.

As a general rule, if your skin type is dry or sensitive, topical acne medicine in the form of a cream or a lotion will provide the best results. This is because treatments that take the form of foam or gel are typically alcohol based, which tends to dry the skin. However, these options are best if you have oily skin.

ii) Retinoid

In moderately severe cases of acne, retinoid treatments are available on prescription from your doctor or dermatologist. This type of acne medicine which is a relative of vitamin A, aims to unblock the skin pores and remove the potential for acne to exist.

However, due to their increased strength, these medicines, which are available in gel, liquid and cream forms, can cause skin irritation and photosensitivity.

b) Oral Acne Medicine - These treatments can be divided into two main sub-categories antibiotics and contraceptives.

i) Antibiotics

These are prescribed for more severe and persistent cases of acne with the aim of destroying the acne causing bacteria to reduce the level of inflammation. Due to the increased strength and potency of these acne medicines it’s vital to follow the instructions of the prescription, otherwise it could lead to the development of antibiotic resistant bacteria on your skin.

The use of antibiotics can also place a strain on your immune system leaving you more vulnerable to various other diseases. So always consult your doctor before taking any antibiotics to treat your acne.

ii) Contraceptives

It has also been discovered that oral contraceptives can provide long term acne treatment by reducing the amount of oil created by the sebaceous skin glands. This reduces the chance of skin pores becoming blocked which can lead to acne.

However, there are fairly serious side effects linked to the long term use of oral contraceptives, including heart attacks, strokes and blood clots, so it’s vital to consult with your doctor before selecting this form of acne treatment.

4) The Severity Of Your Acne

The severity of your acne will also play a major part in the type of acne medicine that you finally select. As mentioned in the last section, mild to moderate acne can often be successfully treated with a wide variety of over the counter medicines. However, moderate to severe acne often requires a more powerful form of medicine that has to be prescribed by your doctor or dermatologist.

5) Other Considerations

And finally, there are certain other considerations that may affect your ultimate choice of acne medication. For example, pregnancy will limit the number of treatments that are safe to use.

Stop Your Acne In Its Tracks

During my career as a registered nurse, I learned a lot through the years about acne, acne scars, and acne treatments. Natural treatment methods are always a better choice for acne due to less exposure to drugs and chemical-laden acne products. By their mid-teens, nearly 35% of teenagers have acne severe enough to require some treatment from a medical professional.

While almost all young people experience acne at least once, it has been reported that 47% of those in their 20s and 30% of those in their 30s had acne. Acne is most common in teenagers and young adults. Acne is the most common skin disease.

Acne rosacea is a red rash predominantly on the face. The most common type of acne is acne vulgaris. The cause of acne is really unknown. It’s not true that dirty skin and stress cause acne. Understanding that hormones may have some influence on the cause of acne needs to be considered.

For a good acne treatment, that has worked for many, try applying virgin coconut oil daily, but on a small test area first. You want to avoid squeezing, pinching, or picking your pimples because it can cause scars or dark spots on the skin. One good natural method is to apply a thin layer of coconut oil and massage it deep into the skin to heal and soothe it. Try not to touch your skin to eliminate possible contamination.

It’s easy to treat acne cheaply, simply, naturally, yet effective, at home. Raw apple cider vinegar application is a cheap, alternative acne treatment that has worked for many adults, teens and children with acne, zits, pimples, or blemishes. Coconut oil is very inexpensive, therefore, a good, cheap home remedy.

A number of treatments are currently available to remove or improve acne scars. Acne scars result from increased tissue formation, response to the inflammation of acne and loss of tissue. Healed acne leaves scars in some people however, and it isn’t easy to predict who will end up with scars after an acne outbreak and who won’t.

The liver sluffs off toxins from bad foods, drinks, drugs and chemicals and sends them through your skin resulting in skin eruptions, acne, pimples and other skin disorders. In any case, no matter what skin or acne treatment you choose, whether it is chemical, drugs, alternative, or natural methods, changing your diet will result in your overall good health! Drink lots and lots of pure, filtered water.

Some alternative doctors recommend eating raw cloves of garlic daily for acne. Eat high-fiber snacks like raw nuts, raw seeds, and dried fruit, such as dates, and figs. Consider taking cod liver oil or fish oil supplements every day. Eat at least one organic apple with the skin on every day.

Unclean skin favors the development of pathogenic organisms – the dead cells that continually slough off of the epidermis mix with the secretions of the sweat and sebaceous glands and the dust found on the skin to form a filthy layer on its surface. Many skin conditions can be converted into healthy skin using natural home remedies.

Pick two or three home remedies or natural treatments and try them out on your skin carefully. With cheap, safe, simple, natural, effective, alternative home treatments for acne and pimples, your skin should be well on its way to recovery. And you should be able to get rid of your acne, zits and pimples and their symptoms, providing you’ve removed the cause, so it doesn’t reoccur.

Acnezine Can Combat All Types of Acne Scars

Scars caused by acne are much more common than doctors once believed; most people will have acne scars that are mild. However, some will have scars that look significant even to others. The best approach is prevention and to treat acne right away as sometimes even mild acne can cause scarring, this can minimize the risk of permanent acne scars. Acnezine is the best possible way to treat acne scars. Acne leaves behind different types of acne scars.

Acne scars result from two types of tissue response to the inflammation of acne: (1) increased tissue formation, and (2) loss of tissue.

Increased Tissue FormationThe scars caused by increased tissue formation are called keloids or hypertrophic scars. The word hypertrophy means “enlargement” or “overgrowth.” Both hypertrophic and keloid scars are associated with excessive amounts of the cell substance collagen. Overproduction of collagen is a response of skin cells to injury. The excess collagen becomes piled up in fibrous masses, resulting in a characteristic firm, smooth, usually irregularly-shaped scar. Keloids tend to “run in the family”—that is, there is a genetic predisposition to form keloids after tissue injury. African-Americans often have a predisposition to keloid formation. Some families also tend to form hypertrophic acne scars or thickened acne scars.

Acnezine, the natural medication for acne treatment serves a major role reducing such types of acne.

Acne Scars Resulting From Loss of TissuesAcne scars resulting from loss of tissue are more common than scars resulting from increased tissue formation. There are several types:Ice-pick acne scars get their name from their appearance. They may be superficial or deep, are usually small in diameter and have steep sides like an ice-pick wound. They may be hard or soft to the touch; the soft acne scars are usually more superficial and the hard scars deeper. The base of hard scars under the skin may be wider than the scar at the surface of the skin.Depressed fibrotic acne scars are usually large scars that have sharp margins and steep sides. They are similar in appearance to deep chicken pox scars.Superficial and deep soft acne scars are variable in size, and have sloping edges that merge with normal skin.

Follicular macular atrophy is more likely to occur on the chest or back of a person with acne. These are small, white, soft lesions, often barely raised above the surface of the skin—somewhat like whiteheads that didn’t fully develop. This condition is sometimes also called “perifollicular elastolysis.” The lesions may persist for months to years.

There are many types of treatment to cure Acne. But Acnezine is a natural acne removal medication with no side effects!

Dealing With Adult Acne!

Most people have the misconception that acne occurs mainly to teens and once you’re past your hormone crazy teen days you would be rid of acne as well. Then you are wondering, how is it here I am in my twenties, thirties or even forties and am still suffering from frequent acne breakouts! This in turn will lead to diminished self esteem and later even depression.

You can rest assured that you are not alone! Acne in adults is actually a common occurance that affects at least 25% of males and 50% of adult women. Most people are then left feeling helpless by this stage and have no clue why their acne has not left them along with their teenage years? This then will lead you to seek a skin doctors advice and most adults usually end up using either a benzol peroxide treatment regime or are put on courses of anti-biotics.

This will NOT get rid of your acne and will only prolong your agony as the moment you get off these treatments, your acne will definitely be back with a vengeance. So what should you do to get rid of your adult acne? In fact Why on earth are you having acne in the first place…may be a few questions on your mind. The answer is actually very simple but its just that people don’t seem to want to accept simple treatments anymore. They are made to believe that there is some deep rooted complex problems that can only be cured by some extremely complex medications that will also burn a nice big hole in their pockets! People seem to be made to think that the more expensive the treatment the better it must be! You couln’t be further from the truth.

As complex as Acne may seem, there is a very simple explanation to the development of acne and an even simpler cure for it but its just a matter of whether the individual is ready for a change in lifestyle or not! Period! O.K. now that I have gotten that off my chest, let me start to explain the reasons for adult acne and I’ll end of with the simplest, cheapest and most effective method for every single person who wants to cure their acne will need to do. Fair? Lets begin….

If you are under the impression that acne is caused by hormone imbalance, which is why most teens experience acne, you are only partially right. Acne occurs because something in your body is out of sync. What do I mean? When anything in your body including all your organs is not performing as it should be and is out of balance, your body will try to find a way of telling you this. So if you are constantly breaking out with pimples, then its your body trying to communicate with you and tell you something is wrong internally and should be addressed and corrected.. So what is a pimple? A pimple is made up of a build up of toxins and impurities that your body is excreting. So what should you do? Listen to your body and start fixing the internal problem that causes your acne to appear in the first place; you will not only get rid of your acne you will also achieve beautiful, healthy, even toned clear skin complexion, re-balance your body and prevent future hormonal or toxic overload related conditions.

We are not born with acne. No one is. Acne is formed because there is an overload of toxins in your body and your body has to get rid of these toxins thus acne. Look at it this way, to make it easier to understand, I’ll use the acne formula.

Acne happens when there is a cause and a trigger thus:

CAUSE + TRIGGER = ACNE

What are the causes of acne? Well as I was mentioning above, ultimately, every disease results from a breakdown within your body. All major diseases and chronic conditions are warning signs of something very fundamentally wrong inside. Cause could vary depending on the individual. They could be any of the following:

The accumulation of toxins, the hormones not in balance, high Blood sugar levels, chronic constipation…

Then there are the triggers which most of you would know about but have actually regarded as the cause instead of the trigger.A Triggers are usually factors that “trigger” your acne to form once you are suffering from any of the causes. Namely: anything from wrong feeding habits, such as irregular hours of eating, improper food, excess of starches and sugar, excess of fatty foods, use of tea, coffee, alcohol or tobacco, strenuous studies, masturbation and sedentary habits which lead to indigestion and general debility, chocolates, seafood etc. If you are an acne sufferer, you probably know exactly which triggers you a re more suceptible to already.

So now you know that Acne is formed by underlying causes within your body that are sensitive to triggers that will actually form the acne. So which do you treat? The cause or the trigger? You could do either or both but that is what you need to decide. I will lay the facts out for you. If you choose to address and eliminate the root cause of acne, that will bring your body back to a state of balance thus it will no longer be sensitive to any triggers and “voala”! No more acne! Or you could go the easy way and just stay away from the triggers. Now this method does not fix anything. As long as you don’t eat or do any of the triggers, you will not get a breakout but the moment you do, you will have a massive breakout. Moreover, this may mean you have to stay away from things that you love forever! Plus in the long run, your body’s imbalances could lead to more serious deseases and forms to eliminate the toxin build up etc. So there you have it. Eliminate either the cause or the effect and you eliminate acne. However, I would definitely go with eliminating the cause so I don’t have to fear whether my body may develop new triggers over time and acne will be back again.

Now how do you treat the casue? This is where you will need to do the simplest form of acne treatment that I was talking about in the beginning. However, consult with your doctor before using a herbal product since it may hinder the effectiveness of prescribed medicines. Also, take required precautions in your diet and lead a positive and stress free life style.
